  • Can I watch the event, if not a startup or pitching?
    Yes, absolutely. F&B founders are welcome to register for 50%-off observer tickets (please send one of our team a LinkedIn message or email pitchevents@pi.is for the promo code)
  • Is there a pitch registration fee?
    Yes. Pitch event applications are free but shortlisted F&B startups are invited to pay to secure a pitching slot. EXPAND

  • What is required for the pitching application process?
    Email pitch@pi.is with an investor pitch deck, a business update, and pitch motivations. Or submit an application form.
  • Does your team offer pre-event pitch coaching support?
    Yes. We offer basic written and/or oral feedback on your investor pitch deck in an email response to your application. If shortlisted and registered to pitch, you receive a complementary 30-minute meeting feedback on a 1-2-1 pitch event briefing and timed pitch rehearsal call before event day.

  • Who are the audience?
    We attract 100+ attendees on our live Zoom events (with this number growing steadily) and provide you with the full registration/attendance list afterwards. The breakdown of the audience tends to be 25-40 investors, including 2+ investor panelists, plus we tag and alert all our previous investor attendees here. The event also attracts food buyers, consultants, and other F&B founders but the intended and main audience is investors and those in the PE/VC industry. We record the event and are exploring options to live stream parts of the events if this plan is supported by our key stakeholders.
  • Are your events online, in-person or hybrid?
    Currently, all our events take place on Zoom. We have organised two in-person F&B networking events in London and hybrid meetups/panel discussions on behalf of FoodHack, and plan to explore producing hybrid pitch events very soon.
  • How long are the pitch slots?
    You are welcome to pitch between 5-7 minutes, and this will be followed by a Q&A round with the panelists lasting approximately a further 13-15 minutes.
